Since its establishment, the Hong Kong Baptist University Foundation has been able to receive generous donations from enthusiastic individuals and organisations to set up various development funds and realise a number of new initiatives that are innovative and have profound impact on the community. University Strategic Development – supported by the Hung Family
In 2019, the University received a generous donation of HK$120 million from Hung Hin Shiu Charitable Foundation Limited, Shiu Pong Enterprises Limited and the Hung family designated for the University’s strategic development and nurturing young musical talent.

In 2019, the University received a generous donation of HK$30 million from Dr. Stanley Yim Yuk Lun, BBS, JP, in support of the University’s strategic development and the establishment of a student development fund, which is designated for student exchanges, internships and innovative service-learning.

In 2019, the University received a generous donation of HK$100 million from Mr. Lo Siu Tong and the Lo family in support of the University’s strategic development.

Lee Shau Kee Communication and Visual Arts Building
In 2019, the University received a generous donation of HK$100 million from Dr. The Hon. Lee Shau Kee, GBM, through the Lee Shau Kee Foundation to support the University’s strategic development, particularly the development of the research cluster of creative media and practice. HKBU named the Communication and Visual Arts Building on the BUR campus after Dr. Lee Shau Kee.
