HKBU receives generous donation from Kwok Chung Bo Fun Charitable Fund in support of the development of School of Chinese Medicine

The University recently received a generous donation from the Kwok Chung Bo Fun Charitable Fund in support of the development of the School of Chinese Medicine in teaching, research, clinical service and technology, enabling the School to make further contribution to the promotion of the modernisation, internationalisation and specialisation of Chinese medicine.

In recognition of the Fund's generosity, a cheque presentation ceremony officiated by Mr. Raymond Kwok Ka Sing (centre), representative of the Kwok Chung Bo Fun Charitable Fund, Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, and Professor Lu Aiping, Dean of Chinese Medicine, was held on 29 April 2013. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, also attended the ceremony.

Mr. Raymond Kwok and his brothers expressed their strong support towards HKBU's efforts in striving to set up the first Chinese medicine teaching hospital in Hong Kong for the benefit of various sectors of the community.
